  In 2024, Chef Hong reached one of the most meaningful moments of his life — his own wedding. Not only did he celebrate love, but he also led his team from The Cake Hunter to craft a truly personal masterpiece: a magnificent rotating castle wedding cake created for himself and his wife.
  Standing 220 cm tall and 230 cm long, the cake represented both love and the pinnacle of his craft. Chef Hong personally led the team, spending over 280 hours on the design, structure, and assembly — from the internal mechanics to the finest decorative details, every element was precisely engineered by hand.

The entire cake was designed in white and purple tones — white, symbolizing purity and new beginnings, and purple, his wife’s favorite color, representing romance, elegance, and everlasting love.
